Do anxiety, anger, or overwhelm keep rising back up—no matter how hard you try to control them?
Could something happening in your heart be influencing the emotions you’re struggling to manage?
Are you willing to let God search your heart and show you what needs to be surrendered, forgiven, or changed?
In this episode, we’re talking about
Why biblical emotional healing involves more than managing what you feel—it begins with allowing God to transform your heart. You’ll learn how to examine your heart with the Holy Spirit, confess and repent, put off old emotional patterns, renew your mind with biblical truth, and pray God’s Word for a clean and steadfast heart.
Your Practical Next Step
Choose one of the clean-heart Psalms from this episode and personalize it into a prayer. Write it in your journal and pray it each day this week. Ask God to search your heart, reveal anything that doesn’t belong, and help you respond through confession, repentance, forgiveness, and surrender.

Jeremiah 29:13
Jeremiah 17:9
Ephesians 4:22–24
2 Timothy 3:16–17

Do you ever feel like everything depends on you—your family, your work, your plans, and the never-ending list of things that still need to get done?
When anxiety and overwhelm rise, slowing down can feel almost irresponsible. But biblical stillness isn’t about ignoring your responsibilities or doing nothing. It’s about stopping the striving long enough to remember who God is, what belongs to Him, and what He is actually asking of you today.
In this episode of Biblical Emotional Healing, we’ll look at Psalm 46:10 and what it practically means to “Be still, and know that I am God.”
We’ll talk about:
How anxiety and overwhelm can reveal where we’re trying to control the outcome
Why overthinking can feel productive even when it changes nothing
How to stop borrowing tomorrow’s worries and stay present with God today
Why seeking God first helps realign our hearts before we respond to everything demanding our attention
A simple Be Still Pause you can practice when anxiety, overwhelm, or the need for control starts pulling you back into striving
This week’s practical step: Set aside ten intentional minutes with God daily. Read Psalm 46:10 slowly, identify one thing you’re trying to control, release it to Him, and ask Him to show you the next faithful step for today—then trust Him with the outcome.
Scriptures in this episode: Psalm 46:10 • John 15:5 • Matthew 6:33–34 • Exodus 14:14
Episode Promise: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14 NIV
Hold on to God’s promises, and I’ll meet you back here next time.

Do you love Jesus but still feel controlled by anxious thoughts, loneliness, perfectionism, or the need to keep everything from falling apart?
For much of my life, I believed God was real—but I didn’t truly know Him. I exhausted myself trying to carry what was always meant for Him: fixing everything, making everything just right, and trying to prevent painful things from happening.
In this first episode of Biblical Emotional Healing, I’m sharing parts of my testimony and how God used some of the most painful and broken places in my story to draw me closer to Him. I’ll share how I began moving from simply believing in God to developing a real relationship with Him—and how surrender, Scripture, prayer, and God’s promises began transforming the way I responded to my emotions and circumstances.
In this episode, we’ll talk about:
Why emotional healing doesn’t mean you never struggle again
How our thoughts, beliefs, fears, and old wounds influence our emotions
Why our emotions are real but aren’t always telling us what is true
What changed when I stopped trying to control everything and fully surrendered to God
How renewing our minds with biblical truth helps us respond differently
What you can expect as we walk through this practical discipleship journey together
You’ll also be introduced to a simple process we’ll continue practicing throughout the podcast:
Notice. Examine. Bring it to God. Replace. Respond. Repeat.
This podcast is for the Christian woman who loves Jesus and is ready to stop allowing anxiety, fear, loneliness, overwhelm, or perfectionism to run the show. Together, we’ll learn to trust God more, hold on to His promises, and allow Jesus to transform our hearts and minds.
This isn’t a comeback where you prove how strong you are. This is the season where you stop trying to do everything in your own strength and begin finding rest in God’s promises and His good plans for you.
Scriptures in this episode:
Philippians 1:21
James 1:2
Psalm 46:10
Jeremiah 29:13
Philippians 4:6–7
Romans 12:2
Jeremiah 29:11
Episode promise:
Your current chapter is not the end of your story. God sees what you cannot see yet. He has not lost sight of you, and you can trust Him with what comes next.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” —Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
If you’re ready to grow stronger in your faith and learn to trust God more—even when life still hurts—I’m so glad you’re here.
